Behavioral Case

My initial interviews with HR and the Marketing Manager went really well; I thought I was a good fit. Then I spent a lot of time on a case study. A week after I sent it, I got an automated rejection email from Global HR. I tried to get some feedback from the Global HR Manager, but never heard back. It was disappointing to not get any communication after putting in so much effort.

The first interview with talent acquisition went well, it was professional and gave a good impression. The second interview, with the Paris team, was more of a mixed bag. The discussion was fine and I think I answered their questions well. However, they seemed a bit unprepared, making it less structured than I'd hoped. After that, I was told I wouldn't be moving on. I asked for feedback to understand why and improve, but got a very generic response. I followed up once more, but heard nothing back. It was disappointing not to get clearer communication, especially after putting in the effort to interview.

I applied online for a Copywriter role at SharkNinja a few months back when I was really needing a job. About three weeks later, a recruiter reached out to schedule a phone interview for a Wednesday afternoon. I waited for the HR rep to call, but she never did. I emailed her that same day to see if we could reschedule. She emailed back and we set a new time for the following week, which I confirmed. The next week, I set aside time and planned on being late to something else for this interview, and I waited. After 10 minutes, then 20, she stood me up again. I contacted her the day after and said I'd be happy to reschedule again, but never heard back from her. This whole thing left a bad impression of the company, and I won't be applying again to avoid this hassle. I checked a few months later and the job was still posted, so they definitely didn't find anyone, which makes me think their hiring process might be a bit off.
