The interview process was absolutely terrible. It was supposed to be 4 interviews over 3 weeks, but it turned into 5 interviews spread over almost 3 months. 4 out of the 5 interviews felt redundant because they asked the same questions, the interviewers seemed disconnected, and they had bad time management. Everyone was late, even the CEO, which was a joke. There were weeks of silence between stages with no clear updates. They'd ask for email follow-ups but then wouldn't respond themselves, which is ironic because the CEO complained about my generation not following up. One person no-showed for an interview they requested. After the 5th interview, it's been over 3 weeks with no response about moving forward. It was a waste of time and a terrible way to manage things. The CEO's comments about being an 'entrepreneur' not an 'employee' just mask a toxic work culture and excuse them for ignoring work-life balance and pushing employees too hard. He said only the 'tough' can handle it, but it really means disrespecting your life for a job with no fully paid medical or 401k match. Look elsewhere.

So the interview process kicked off with a preliminary call where they asked some basic questions about my experience and did a deep dive into my resume. Then came a roleplay scenario, followed by an interview with a higher-up manager. The last interview was with a regular employee, which honestly felt super natural and easy, like a great conversation, and I was pretty confident I'd get an offer. However, the final meeting with another employee to go over the day-to-day responsibilities was really awkward. It was basically just me asking all the questions because they didn't seem engaged. When I got the rejection email, I was totally blindsided. Their tone shifted completely, and when I asked for feedback, they said they wanted someone with more, even though we covered all of that in the FIRST interview! It felt like a complete waste of my time and got my hopes up for nothing.

So the first interview was pretty straightforward. I had a good chat with the person who would be my manager if I got the job, and they said I'd move on to the next stage. The second interview seemed to go well in my view, and they told me I'd hear back within a few days. After two days, I got a generic rejection email from a no-reply address saying they were moving forward with other candidates. It was disappointing since I'd already done two interviews, and then I got ghosted when I asked for feedback from the contact person.

First, a recruiter call, then you'll have a take-home assignment. After that, there's a 1-on-1 interview, followed by a second 1-on-1. The people are nice and the process is effective. It works well if you know what you want to do at the company, as it's very clear and directive.
