Marketing Associate
The process starts with some chats with different team leads, like to see if we vibe. Then, there's a chat with the CEO to get the big picture and future stuff. Lastly, you do a case study presentation, which isn't too scary and is usually pretty simple.
- Can you explain why you approached the case study the way you did?
- How did you approach the case study?
- Show me you know about creative best practices.
Marketing Associate
The interview process felt very robotic, like the hiring managers were rushing and reading scripts. It was impersonal, with broad topics. The role is intriguing because they seem to be modernizing old practices, but it was hard to gauge the actual company culture from the interview.
- Can you tell me how your previous experience connects with niche snail mail marketing strategies?
Marketing Associate
I had two interviews that went great. The first guy that interviewed me clearly was scripted because he didn't really understand my answers. After every answer he would jump to the next question. The second meeting was with the team lead and she was awesome. We had an amazing conversation. The third step in the process was a homework assignment and then meeting with multiple people on the board. At this time, I received an offer from a different agency so I did not complete those interviews. I was heading in the direction of receiving an offer but turned down the potential opportunity before it was offered.
