First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Share Local Media.
Marketing Associate
The process starts with some chats with different team leads, like to see if we vibe. Then, there's a chat with the CEO to get the big picture and future stuff. Lastly, you do a case study presentation, which isn't too scary and is usually pretty simple.
- Can you explain why you approached the case study the way you did?
- How did you approach the case study?
- Show me you know about creative best practices.
Software Engineer
It was a good experience, the interviewers were nice and made me feel comfortable so I could express myself. They asked questions that were right for the job and let me show my technical and problem-solving skills. I liked that they looked at my technical skills, my fit with the company culture, and how I work with others.
- What is your availability to join?
Data Analyst
The Share Local Media interview process was a really long one, it took about two months from start to finish. It involved a bunch of interviews with lots of different people on the team. To wrap things up, there was a case study using sample data and a technical test.
- Could you do a technical assessment of the mailing data?
Marketing Coordinator
This interview process was a complete waste of time, dragging on for over four months. I went through multiple interviews and completed two assignments. In the end, they told me there wasn't actually a Marketing Coordinator opening. After the interview for the Operations Associate role, they said they needed someone with different experience, which was obvious from the start that I didn't have it. It was a total waste of my time, over 20 hours. Avoid this company.
- Can you share an instance where a company's process felt like a waste of your time?
