Software Development Engineer
It's a pretty standard process in Silicon Valley, you talk to a recruiter, then a coding screen, then an on-site, and then another on-site. It really depends on the people you meet, your mileage may vary, just like with every other interview.
- Design an app ecosystem
Software Engineer
After a phone screen with HR, I had an on-site interview that lasted about 4-5 hours. It started with a casual conversation with HR and a PM who talked about the company. Then, I was given around 3 algorithm problems to solve on a whiteboard, and some basic knowledge questions were also asked.
- Tell me about some algorithm problems.
- What is your basic knowledge about operating systems?
- What is your basic knowledge about networking like protocols?
Software Engineer
I had two phone interviews, one with HR and another with a team member. They asked me about data structures, databases/SQL, algorithms, and design patterns. It was average difficulty, but I didn't get to the next stage.
- What are the methods to prevent SQL injection attacks on a database?
