Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at SGK.
Account Manager
The whole process was super smooth and welcoming. It started with one initial phone call, followed by two interviews. One of those interviews included a presentation to some senior staff members. I got the offer a few days later; it was one of the more straightforward interview processes I've been through.
- What experience do you have that you can bring to this role?
Account Manager
The interview process took 3 months! First there was a phone interview, then a management interview, and then another interview with the hiring manager and some staff from another SGK office. After my final interview, I had to wait 1.5 months to find out if I would move on to the final interview stage. No one bothered to tell me I wasn't selected. I contacted the recruiter and she told me I wasn't chosen. About 5 months in, I finally got a generic email saying I wasn't selected. Their long interview process and ghosting candidates is unprofessional and makes me think they have internal issues. During my last interview, they focused a lot on the difficult parts of the job and didn't mention any of the perks of SGK. This was the most disorganized and longest interview process I've ever experienced. 3-5 months is unacceptable.
- Can you describe your experience working with an ad agency?
Account Manager
The interview process was pretty straightforward. It started with an HR screening to check if I was a good fit. After that, there were two more interviews with the Senior Management team.
- How would your experience best fit this role?
- Can you give an example of when you handled a difficult client or situation?
