The interview started with a phone call a couple of minutes after the scheduled time. The whole call lasted 35 minutes. They first gave me a rundown of the job and asked what I knew about the company. They also let me know I'd have time for my questions at the end. A big part of the interview involved me sharing stories from my past jobs, like 'tell me about a time when....' However, there were a few things I didn't like. The interviewer spoke really fast and wasn't always clear when I asked questions. Their responses to my answers felt fake and generic. At the end, they said I could email them more questions while waiting for their decision. The next morning, I sent a thank-you email and asked, 'Is there a system in place to allow staff to provide feedback or offer ideas to leadership?' I never got an answer. Two days later, I just got a form email saying I didn't get the job. I had mentioned I was looking for a long-term career and asked about growth opportunities, but their response made me doubt if they were serious about hiring for the long haul or just filling positions.

I first applied online with my resume and cover letter on 10/4. Later that day, a recruiter emailed to set up a phone interview for 10/7. On 10/7, I spoke with the recruiter. We talked about the company, my background, and some behavioral questions. I thought it went really well and they offered me an in-person interview on 10/11. The next day, 10/8, I got an email asking me to do three online quizzes before the in-person interview. I finished them right away and felt good about them. On 10/11, I went in for the in-person interview. I met two team leads first. We chatted, they asked some behavioral questions, and I asked about the team and company. It seemed to go okay, we were joking around and I felt like a good fit. Then, I met with the head of support. He barely asked me any questions, just looked at my resume and ended the meeting fast. I got the impression he either didn't like me or thought I was too qualified, so he rushed me out. I got a rejection email on 10/14. The whole process felt a bit strange. They mentioned my age since I'm in my late 20s and said they 'hire for fit,' so I suspect my age was an issue. The support lead also said they were really desperate to hire at least 6 people, and since I was fully qualified, I'm confused about why I was rejected. It seemed like it would have been a good place to work though.

I had a 30-minute phone chat where they asked general stuff. Then I was asked to come in for an in-person interview the next week. I met and talked separately with 3 different people, and they all asked different things. I got the job offer within two days.
