I first talked to Sewell at a college career fair. The recruiters were really nice and approachable. They gave me a paper with info about their info sessions and interviews the next week at a hotel. At the info session, they talked about the different branches in San Antonio, Houston, and Dallas, and went over the company's mission and goals. They also let us ask questions and chat with current employees at the end. Make sure to wear a traditional business professional outfit (black suit, white shirt, simple jewelry and hair) because that's what they want to see. The interviews were the next day and involved a short chat with a manager to see if your personality and background were a good fit. After the interview, there was a 15-question math and logic test. It included basic multiplication, converting percentages to decimals, and calculating things like sales tax and discounts, all without a calculator. Then, they gave us a book with a code to take the StrengthsFinder assessment online and email the results to a recruiter. They'll then send a letter to let you know if you're moving on.

Basically, you'll have a one-on-one chat, then a personality test, and after that, you'll have interviews at the dealership you might end up at. Important: If you're thinking about other job offers, don't mention it. They'll immediately rule you out, no matter how good you are. There are just too many people applying for Sewell to risk offering the job to someone who might go somewhere else. That's just their way of doing things, I've seen it happen to a few people.

That same night, I took a strengths finder test, and two days later I was contacted to take a personality exam. It wasn't difficult and took about two hours. I'm still waiting to hear back, and they mentioned it would take about a week and a half.
