I applied online and had a phone interview within two days. Then a face-to-face interview within the next three days. They asked for references via email the next day and sent an assessment to complete via email about my skills, personality, etc. I was really confused because I thought I was overqualified and definitely going to get the job. During the interview, they asked if I knew the role of the Program Coordinator since much of my experience is more aligned with the Program Director role, which I do know. They said they'd let me know since a decision hadn't been made yet (this was last Friday), and hopefully, they'd get back to me early next week. It's Wednesday now and they're not responding to my emails. I'm assuming I didn't get the position, but it's frustrating they couldn't just tell me. I just don't get why I didn't get the position.

it was quick but they ask a lot of situational questions. They want to see how you will handle certain situations, clients, and their families. HR doesn't usually call you, it is usually the hiring manager for that current position. Most of the time they open to outsiders.

The interview is less than an hour long. They really want to hear about your past experience. It's a panel interview but sometimes it's just two people. I was already working for the company as a DSP so I wasn't as worried. MENTOR likes to hire from within. It shows that you know something about the company and what is expected of you. This doesn't mean they won't hire from outside. We've had some incredible new people come in as a supervisor.

  • Have you had prior experience working with an ISP?
