The first interview was scheduled but the interviewer didn't show up, so I had to reschedule. For the second interview, the interviewer was late and didn't apologize. They talked a bit about the company and then asked some basic questions, but kept confusing my application for a Talent Acquisition Specialist with a Recruitment Coordinator role. The whole experience was disorganized, and I think I might have dodged a bullet by not getting hired, especially since I have five years of HR experience in healthcare and they were asking really simple questions. It felt like a complete waste of my time.

I reached out to a friend who worked there because I knew they were hiring people without prior recruiting experience. They contacted me to come in for an in-person interview pretty quickly. I met with 4 different people, 2 leads and 2 team managers. The whole thing took about 2 hours. They asked standard questions. It was really conversational, and we talked a lot about the company culture. One person even mentioned they used to 'drink beer in the office every Friday' (though that's changed). It felt very relaxed and friendly. About 90% of the employees are recent grads or under 30, so it was all about seeing how you'd fit in with the team and your people skills, not so much about actual recruiting experience. After meeting the four interviewers, a more senior person came in and offered me the job right then and there. I started two weeks later.

I met with 3 people. First the team manager and a recruiter for the initial "tell me about yourself" questions. We talked for maybe 20-30 minutes. I then got a tour of the office and had a writing prompt. Afterwards I talked to the team manager again for a few minutes then met with another manager. It felt like it went by fast because I was getting along with the interviewers so well! I got a call about 15 minutes after leaving the office with the job offer!
