Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Sesame Workshop.
Intern
I got a take-home assignment with some questions, and then I had an in-person interview. They asked me some basic stuff like why I wanted to work there, how I found out about the company, and what makes me a better candidate than others.
- Do you have experience using Google Analytics?
Intern
It was easy and really informal, more of a get-to-know-you type of chat. I spoke with the person who would be my direct contact. The whole process from initial contact to the interview took only about 3-4 days because I was available. It was a one-on-one meeting, and I wouldn't anticipate any group interviews.
- Can you tell me a bit about yourself?
- What motivates your interest in working here?
- What are your reasons for wanting to work at Sesame Workshop?
Intern
Received an email invitation for an interview a few months after submitting my application on their website. The interview was conducted by two people and felt pretty casual. They inquired about my past experiences and my reasons for applying to this specific position, and there were no surprising questions.
- What makes you want to intern at Sesame Workshop?
