Administrative Assistant
I got called in for an interview with the Director of Human Resources after my resume was submitted by someone I knew there. It didn't feel like much of an interview, more like catching up with an old friend. We talked about important things like Microsoft Office knowledge and why I like being an assistant, but mostly I got to share who I am. It felt like she really listened and got to know me as a person, making sure I'd be a good fit for the team.

Executive Assistant
As an intern, I set up a meeting with HR before graduating college. I met with HR to discuss opportunities. A co-worker told me about an opportunity. I interviewed with the executive I would be assisting. They told me at the interview that I was hired and to start Monday (it was Friday!). I had to find an apartment in NYC over the weekend, but I made it happen.
- Can you tell me about your background and experience with the company?
Administrative Assistant
It was a relaxed and friendly process. I didn't feel any pressure to be anyone but myself. You can tell the people at Sesame Workshop are really invested in their mission and they are looking for people who think similarly.
