I applied online and got a phone screen, then a verbal test. After that, I interviewed in person with the hiring manager and some other people from different departments. I think this was about 3 months ago. They checked my references and everything seemed good. I really thought I had the job. I didn't hear anything back for a really long time. I reached out to the recruiter and the hiring manager, but they just said no decision had been made. It's been 3 months and still nothing. No email, no call, not even a "thanks but we hired someone else." It was super unprofessional, especially for a corporate office. I guess it worked out for the best, I don't want to work there anyway.

I got a call from a manager about a job I applied for, though I didn't remember applying. I figured it was possible since I'd applied to so many jobs. I agreed to meet with her the next week. She was nice and asked typical questions. I thought it went well, but wasn't overly optimistic because the pay and benefits weren't great in my opinion. But, she called me the next week for another meeting with her and the owners. I went, and they offered me the job on the spot, which I accepted since I really needed a job.

I did a quick test that assessed my problem solving and reading comprehension skills. After that, I met with the office manager and the franchise owner. The whole interview lasted about an hour and a half. They asked questions that really made me think about what they were asking and how I was going to answer.
