First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Servpro Industries.
Reconstruction Estimator
I had an initial phone chat with the owner. Then, I went in person to the local branch to meet with the reconstruction department chief and a senior estimator. They talked about the job requirements, how the business normally runs, and what they expect you to do each day in the role.
- What draws you to ServPro and what are your future career aspirations within the company?
Marketing Manager
I went for an in-person interview with the owner and another employee. Then, I had a second interview over the phone with the agency they work with. Both interviews felt really good, with lots of positive connections and my experience seemed to align well with the job and the market. They did mention that there's a lot of turnover there, which could be good or bad. I was bummed not to hear back after the second interview, so I had to reach out after about two weeks and just got a generic reply. The communication wasn't ideal, which sometimes suggests internal communication might not be the best either.
- What do you consider your work superpower?
Technician
It was a straightforward process. They asked some basic questions about my background, skills, and what I'm interested in. The interviewer was pretty chill and kept the conversation flowing nicely. If there were any technical questions, they were easy, just checking if I knew the basics. The interviewer was friendly and made me feel comfortable sharing. They finished by quickly explaining what happens next and thanked me for my time. The whole point seemed to be to make it a low-stress way to see if I fit the role.
- Were you ever in a leadership position?
Customer Service Representative
I was made to wait for 40 minutes on a dirty couch, which was unpleasant. I assumed they were busy with someone else, but they weren't. They were just hanging out in the meeting room, laughing and being loud. These people were arrogant and acted like jerks; it seems like this branch practices nepotism. It's unclear if they were actually hiring or just posting the ad for fun, but they were clearly awful people. I didn't follow up, even though they called. I don't normally write reviews like this, but these are truly terrible humans.
