I had two phone chats, one with HR and another with the hiring manager, followed by a half-day where I met various people from different departments. Everyone was really nice and seemed to have a great culture. The big downside was that even though I didn't get an offer, they didn't cover my travel costs like they said they would. I emailed HR a few times and got no response, which left a bad taste after what I thought was a good day.

All interviews went well and they indicated they were moving towards an offer, even before I submitted references. The offer was expected by Friday noon, but then I was told the position was on hold, which was strange and makes me question their decision-making process.
