I went through 3 remote interviews with different leaders. They were all pretty quick and to the point. I got to ask them about the company culture and what the job would be like.

Got approached by Serco on LinkedIn for a contractor role. Had to wait for the manager for about 15 mins as they couldn't find him. Then I met two people from the GIS team in a meeting room who asked me about my GIS experience and past work. Learned their previous GIS person left a year ago, taking everything, and not much work was done on OS data updates since. The interview was short, about 30 mins. Seemed like no clear vision or leadership in the department; the manager didn't ask anything. A few days later, HR called and offered a permanent position. An hour later, they called again saying they didn't have the money for permanent, so it's a contract. They asked me to review paperwork before deciding. After a week of no contact, I got an email with documents from a third-party management company asking for sensitive info about previous clients within 1.5 days, which I refused to provide. After I sent my rejection email stating my objections, the HR person called back, acting unprofessional, rude, and bullying, so I ended the call. Serco then started advertising the same position as permanent, even though they told me they lacked the funds.

It was a recruiter call where they asked me to tell them about myself, my hobbies, why I want to join this organization, my qualifications, how many languages I know, and if I can write and read in all of them.
