You'll first chat with either the Assistant Store Manager (ASM) or Store Manager (SM), then move on to the District Manager (DM) in the next round. They're really focused on your metrics and results, so make sure to highlight your sales and service achievements. Being high-energy and good at multitasking is key for this role.

I talked to two people. They asked me about my past sales experience. They didn't ask anything super specific that I could easily answer. This made me a bit nervous because I felt like I should have been able to explain more. It added to my stress.

The interview was conducted over Teams and was quite pleasant with a friendly interviewer. They asked a lot of questions. However, it's noticeable that Sephora has a specific type of employee they look for. If you don't wear makeup to an interview, they won't hire you. Looking at the Sephora employees, they seem like amateur makeup artists who don't really know much. My girlfriend was there and was looking for a cream for acne, especially fungal acne, and they recommended products that actually worsen acne. I advised my girlfriend not to buy anything.
