I applied on their website and HR reached out the day after. The interview process was simple: first a round with HR, then a round with the Hiring Manager. Both went great, and the Hiring Manager even asked about my start date. The day after that interview, HR called with great feedback from the Hiring Manager, saying they'd follow up with an offer after internal talks. I was hopeful and even started prepping for onboarding. A week later, no news. I followed up, and HR said to wait. I suspected then I wasn't chosen. After two more weeks, I emailed to ask if I could close the process. HR again asked me to wait and promised an update in a week, which ended up being a rejection. It looks like post-interview feedback is standard at Sephora, so don't get too hopeful based on positive feedback alone. In my experience, if there's no follow-up in a week, you're usually not the final pick.

The whole process was very smooth. The selection stages were with the manager, peers of the managers, and later with the director. There was no type of case study applied to validate tool knowledge.

It was a pretty straightforward interview process. Started with a 15-minute call with a recruiter, then a 30-minute call with the hiring manager. After that, I had a SQL take-home test with 3 questions that took about an hour to complete. The final round involved four 45-minute interviews with different team members. Everyone was really nice and the whole thing went smoothly. However, after the final round, I didn't hear anything back. I followed up after two weeks and was told I didn't get the job, but they didn't give any specific feedback, which was a bit of a bummer considering how much time I put into the interviews.
