It began with a Zoom call with HR to check my background, skills, and interest. They wanted to schedule an in-person meeting with managers, but I asked for time to think. After I agreed, I got an online behavior and personality test. Once I finished that, the interview was set up. The directions were easy to follow, and the interview went smoothly. The managers were very nice and explained the job and company well. I'm waiting to hear back by the end of the week.

The interview process spanned a significant period, not due to a high volume of interviews, but due to lengthy gaps between them, sometimes lasting several weeks. While I received updates for scheduling, overall communication was sparse, and my follow-up emails occasionally went unanswered until a scheduling was imminent. I progressed to the final stages and was initially informed by the hiring manager about a small project submission. However, after a few days without receiving instructions, a follow-up revealed this was no longer required. The following day, I was notified via email that I hadn't been selected, learning the position was filled internally. I found the email notification unprofessional, especially after reaching the final interview, and noted the unusually rapid decision-making process post-final interview compared to the earlier delays.

The interview process was straightforward. It started with an HR phone screen. Following that, they set up an hour-long interview with two senior developers to discuss general iOS concepts. The final round was a 90-minute interview that included meeting with the culture team and then meeting with managers. Although I didn't get the job, SentriLock was kind enough to email a $5 Starbucks egift card as a thank you!

I was contacted by a recruiter on LinkedIn for this marketing role, which was followed by a phone screen with SentriLock's HR. About a week later, I had an in-person interview with both HR and a team member. When I got there, there was no receptionist, so I had to call someone from a phone in the foyer to announce my arrival. I left a message and waited in a cold, locked foyer for 15 minutes. The interview was supposed to start at 8:30 AM. It was pretty awkward, and I almost went back to my car but didn't want to be marked late. Eventually, the interviewer showed up and let me in. The interview itself was pretty much what I expected. I got a rejection email the next day. This experience makes me wonder how they treat current employees if this is how they treat candidates.
