First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Sentinel.
Account Executive
It was 3 rounds, and honestly, the interviewers seemed to have already decided about me before I even started. They didn't really explain what makes them different from other companies. I also didn't like how unclear they were about the actual job duties.
- How would you approach selling our product?
Sales Executive
The interview process involved three interviews: first with the sales manager, then with technical leads, and finally with the hiring manager. An offer was extended after these three rounds. The interview process was generally straightforward, with no extensive background checks or drug screenings.
- How would you prepare to make a sales call about a DaaS project engagement?
Sales Executive
The recruiter was great with communication, and after a quick initial call, they set up an interview. The first interview was super fast-paced; the sales manager threw a lot of rapid-fire questions at me, which was a bit surprising at first, but we managed to cover a lot of ground quickly, so it felt effective. I didn't get to ask too many questions, but the ones I did ask were answered honestly. Following that, I met with a VP for a more relaxed chat. The first interview session lasted about 45 minutes. They invited me back for a second interview the next week, which was way more conversational, and I had the chance to ask a lot more questions. That meeting went for closer to 2 hours. Overall, it was a really good experience.
- Can you tell me about the xyz product?
- What's the target market for the abc product?
