Behavioral Case

I went through five interview rounds and got quick replies at each step. The whole team was nice, helpful, and professional. I really liked the detailed feedback they gave explaining why they picked someone else. It was really helpful.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process was already pitched to me to be a length process from the get go. It’s not my first rodeo going through a lengthy interview process and at first I appreciated the transparency. But what I didn’t appreciate is that after having the initial interview with the recruiter, I went through two other interviews with two different hiring managers. One was meant to be 45 minutes but went to just over an hour and the second was 40-45 minutes but after not progressing, I thought ok, can I at least get feedback. The email I received initially from the recruiter was a short generic auto response of basically “thank you for your time and good luck with your search”. Not even a ‘I will aim to gather feedback for you’. Interviews are a lengthy process and you’re giving your time, so it would be appreciated to get feedback and not have to chase it. After chasing, one said they’d be happy to elaborate but never got back to me and the first hiring manager did get back to me but had the lazy audacity of giving me a Chat GPT response! And I know this as not only did it read as automated, they actually left on the last paragraph “[Enter company name here]”. It’s laughable. Interviews are as much for the applicant as it is for the recruiting company. This experience just confirmed for me that I dodged a bullet if this is how they treat potential staff, who knows what it’s like working there. I wish I read glass door beforehand as it seems there’s actually a lot of unhappy staff. Save yourself time and avoid!

Behavioral Presentation Other

First there was a recruiter screen, then a hiring manager screen. I then had a series of emails with the recruiter who then passed me off to another recruiter. What was proposed as a "panel" interview turned out to be three separate hour-long virtual interviews, with interviewers joining late. After that, I was ghosted. I would seriously recommend that all women look elsewhere. I've never had such unprofessional interactions or had my own professional experience mansplained back to me. One interviewer boasted about their onboarding and training. Another interviewer laughed when I asked about their experience with the aforementioned training and said it didn't exist and if I expected "hand holding," I wouldn't fare well. The company is largely disorganized and unprofessional. Condescending and sexist was the cherry on top for me.
