Account Manager
The interview process was already pitched to me to be a length process from the get go. It’s not my first rodeo going through a lengthy interview process and at first I appreciated the transparency. But what I didn’t appreciate is that after having the initial interview with the recruiter, I went through two other interviews with two different hiring managers. One was meant to be 45 minutes but went to just over an hour and the second was 40-45 minutes but after not progressing, I thought ok, can I at least get feedback. The email I received initially from the recruiter was a short generic auto response of basically “thank you for your time and good luck with your search”. Not even a ‘I will aim to gather feedback for you’. Interviews are a lengthy process and you’re giving your time, so it would be appreciated to get feedback and not have to chase it. After chasing, one said they’d be happy to elaborate but never got back to me and the first hiring manager did get back to me but had the lazy audacity of giving me a Chat GPT response! And I know this as not only did it read as automated, they actually left on the last paragraph “[Enter company name here]”. It’s laughable. Interviews are as much for the applicant as it is for the recruiting company. This experience just confirmed for me that I dodged a bullet if this is how they treat potential staff, who knows what it’s like working there. I wish I read glass door beforehand as it seems there’s actually a lot of unhappy staff. Save yourself time and avoid!
- Can you provide an example of a time when you initiated change?
Customer Success Manager
I had about 5 or 6 calls with the hiring manager and some other team members. Some of the calls were pretty casual, while others were more structured. Overall, it was a pretty standard process, and they were happy to answer my questions, which isn't always the case. I wasn't totally sure it was the right fit for me by the end, but I think I would have gotten an offer if I didn't need visa sponsorship.
- Can you describe how you've handled accounts that were at risk of leaving and what steps you took to prevent churn?
Machine Learning Engineer
It was a really long interview process, like ~8 interviews total, with about 4-5 being technical interviews. The take-home assignment was way too long, and some of the requirements seemed to conflict with questions that came up during my presentation. They asked for coding in Pyspark, which isn't something I use daily, and it would have been helpful to know this upfront. The SQL interview had some tough questions that felt more suited for an analyst or Data Scientist than an MLE. Honestly, I wouldn't go through it again because it took up so much time and felt like a lot of it was unnecessary.

Business Development
I spoke with the internal recruiter for one interview. It was a pretty straightforward conversation as she was direct and focused with her questions. Unfortunately, because I would need sponsorship in the future, she had to reject my application. It seems that for the last two years, the UK office isn't sponsoring new hires. She was really understanding about it though and gave me some helpful advice afterwards about what kind of roles I should keep searching for and what aspects of my experience to emphasize.
- Could you discuss your background and explain how it aligns with the requirements of this position?
