The process for this role really dives deep into your technical chops. It starts with three technical interviews. The first one is all about your fundamental conceptual knowledge. Then, the second round gets into your project and application level understanding. After that, the third round is focused on your technical skills and problem-solving abilities. If you nail those, we move on to the final stage, which is an in-person HR round where we'll chat about salary negotiation and get into corporate policies.

Confirmed questions1 question

The interview process had 4 rounds. It started with an online multiple choice test covering Java, Spring, Hibernate, and SQL/PLSQL. Then there were two technical interview rounds, followed by a final face-to-face round where the interviewer discussed how things work at the company and assessed cultural fit. The initial rounds were pleasant, but the company could have handled the rejection better by informing me directly after the final round instead of making me wait for over 5 hours and then only receiving an automated rejection email a month later after following up with a non-responsive recruiter.

Confirmed questions4 questions
  • Took an online test for 1 hour covering primary skills.
  • Answered in-depth Java questions in the first technical round, which was respectful and focused on job requirements.
  • Solved a problem-solving question in the second technical round.

So I applied for a NodeJS developer role and went through 3 rounds total. First up was a standard video call where they hit me with some technical questions about javascript. After that, there was an HR round focused on work ethics and how I handle teams. The final round was with a Tech Lead where I had to share my screen and present a project. They said Googling was fine. It was my first time doing pair programming, which made me kinda nervous, but honestly, it went pretty smooth.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Could you build a NodeJS project from the ground up, including adding TypeScript support?
  • Please set up a basic server, establish a database connection, and create a few API endpoints.
