First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Seneca Global.
Senior Architect
First, there was a recruiter/HR screening. Then, an Angular deep-dive technical interview with real-time scenarios. Following that, an architecture and system design round. Next, a coding/problem-solving round. After that, a leadership and behavioral interview. Then, a stakeholder round. Finally, a client interview. The last step was the final HR/offer discussion.
- Can you evaluate architectural thinking at scale?
Talent Acquisition Specialist
I got this job through a referral, and the whole thing was super fast, only taking a week. I chatted with SenecaGlobal (Hyderabad, Talent Acquisition) back in May 2025. The interviews were with the TA Manager, then the VP of Human Resources, followed by the VP of Technology, and finally the MD who is the Head of India and a Co-founder. It was a really great experience, honestly. Everyone was so nice and really helped me get what the company is all about. I got the offer and took it!
- Could you tell me about your success in closing candidates and your methods?
- What attracts you to this particular role and our company?
- What would you say are your key strengths?
Software Engineer
The interview process had 4 rounds. It started with an online multiple choice test covering Java, Spring, Hibernate, and SQL/PLSQL. Then there were two technical interview rounds, followed by a final face-to-face round where the interviewer discussed how things work at the company and assessed cultural fit. The initial rounds were pleasant, but the company could have handled the rejection better by informing me directly after the final round instead of making me wait for over 5 hours and then only receiving an automated rejection email a month later after following up with a non-responsive recruiter.
- Took an online test for 1 hour covering primary skills.
- Answered in-depth Java questions in the first technical round, which was respectful and focused on job requirements.
- Solved a problem-solving question in the second technical round.
Technical Architect
So first I got this assignment to write a functional doc based on a single class file, took me like 4 hours. Then we had a follow-up chat about it for about an hour with a senior architect, they were pretty good. After that, another architect, this time for the second technical round, they had questions, pasted them in chat and asked me to design. They just looked at the solution and made a decision. The really bad part is after all this, like 5-6 hours of my time, I still don't know the feedback or the outcome. No response from HR. Even if the interview didn't go well, they should at least share the feedback.
- Design an object model for a specific use case.
- Design a data model for a specific use case.
- Discuss architectural design patterns.
