Trainer
The interview process was okay, but one interviewer seemed confused and thought I was interviewing for a different role. Another interviewer mentioned they weren't concerned about skills, but rather wanted to hire someone they'd like to be friends with. I had a negative experience because I was told I got the job in my 3rd interview and that I was giving all the right answers and they wanted me on their team in my 4th interview. However, the in-house recruiter missed our scheduled call and then sent a generic email days later stating the company was no longer interested in hiring me, without providing any feedback or details.
- What is your reason for leaving your present employer?
Director of BDR
A recruiter initially screened me and thought I'd be a better fit for an unlisted role. I then interviewed with two different hiring managers. I reached out to the recruiter multiple times to prepare and ask about next steps, but received little communication. She only reached out after interviews to say they'd update me, but didn't answer my follow-up questions. I had to chase for a templated rejection. One of my interviews was rescheduled, and the VP of Enterprise Sales ended another early due to a personal matter, cutting off his last question about a resume gap concerning team management. He mentioned wanting to reconnect but no follow-up was scheduled. Overall, it felt like a disorganized process where candidates weren't made to feel valued.
- How has the BDR role evolved over the last two years?
Marketing
So this recruiter hit me up about my availability and I sent it over for the next day, but then I heard nothing for like 36 hours. I followed up, and she acted like I never emailed. We finally set up a time for the next week, but then 20 minutes before, she texted me asking to reschedule. We rescheduled for the next day and she sent a Zoom link. When it was time, I was ready for a video call, but she joined 3 minutes late, camera off, saying her internet was spotty. She didn't introduce herself, give me any info on the role (or even say the job title), or the company. She just started firing questions at me. It was super jarring. She asked me like 3 questions, and one I'd already answered in my first response. It was obvious she wasn't paying attention. After 10 minutes, she said we were halfway through and wanted to leave time for my questions. I didn't have 15 minutes of questions, but I did ask about the position. She had no answer, and when I asked again, she just said it was a backfill. She seemed totally unprepared and uninterested, honestly just a waste of my time. Terrible first impression of Sendoso.

Outstanding Experience
WOW, is all I can say. The interview process was seamless, not drawn out, transparent and honest. The interviewers were genuinely interested in getting to know me to ensure a great fit for both parties. Clear expectations were laid out and interviews were scheduled in a timely manner. I could not say more great things about my experience. This is clearly a reflection of company standards. I know had I taken the role it would have been a great place to grow and call my professional 'home.'
- Tell me about a time you made a mistake and what you learned from it.
