The company is very unprofessional and going through the process turned out to be a huge waste of time. Set up an interview after talking to a recruiter. After a few weeks, I reached out to the recruiter to request for an update on interview results. My e-mail bounced and turns out the recruiter had left the company a few weeks prior (red flag?). I was then informed by a third party that the company is on a hiring freeze. Still haven't heard a single word back from SendBird -- at least provide the professional courtesy of an update or rejection.

I initially connected with a recruiter on LinkedIn. The hiring process moved really fast, and they were super helpful with any questions I had. All my emails were answered within an hour. The whole thing was really smooth, and SendBird really makes an effort to help with any concerns you might have. Honestly, they felt more professional and prepared for interviews than some Big Tech companies. Their pay is also really competitive, even compared to Big Tech. It was a great experience.

I'd suggest not bothering with this company. Their hiring process is a mess, totally disorganized, and a complete waste of your time. It took them over a week to even get back to me after I gave them my availability for the phone screen, and they didn't even acknowledge it. During the actual interview, the recruiter was really rude and acted like I was beneath her. It felt like she'd already made up her mind before we even started talking. Plus, she made the team sound like a bunch of miserable people to work with.
