Customer Success Specialist
I went through a long interview process that lasted about 2 months. There were 3 interviews in total, plus an initial screener call with a recruiter. I made it all the way to the final interview. The recruiter told me the company would let me know by a specific date if I was getting an offer. That date passed, and I didn't hear anything. I reached out to the recruiter, and they said they were also 'waiting to hear back.' Nobody has reached out, emailed, or called me since then. It's been over a week, and I guess they ghosted me. It seems a bit unprofessional to ghost someone after such a lengthy process, regardless of whether I got an offer. Getting some kind of notice would have been great and shown respect for my time and job search.
- Tell me what sparked your interest in our company.
- What gets you motivated to start your day?
- Could you explain what a credit builder account is?
Customer Success Specialist
We had a chat over Zoom, it was pretty laid-back and felt more like a conversation to get to know me and my background. The manager laid out what the entry-level part-time role entails and what they expect. We just chatted and she set out the expectations for the part-time position. It was really chill and straightforward.
- Can you share your experience and how you handle problem-solving with unhappy customers?
Customer Success Specialist
I was initially contacted by a recruiter on LinkedIn who thought I'd be a good fit. We had a quick recruiter call, and then I got the job description via email. I decided to apply and then had a Google Meet with the Manager and TL. Things were going well until I asked about the daily workload, like call, email, and chat volume, and the rotation. That's when I found out the role is strictly phone-based, even though the job description mentioned all three. The manager then tried to backtrack, saying a team rotation might happen in the future, but nothing's planned. This made me realize I'd be stuck on phones indefinitely, which isn't ideal for preventing burnout.
- Describe a situation where you dealt with a very angry customer and how you resolved it.
