Administrative Assistant
I was already working for the staffing agency, but in a different role. I scheduled a meeting with the regional executive recruiter, who handles the clerical jobs, to discuss my suitability for a clerical position. I brought two copies of my resume, and we talked about my experience. She was very helpful, offering me interview advice and reviewing my resume to improve it for future assignments.

The interview setting was chaotic each time I went to the office. The computer system was down for about 3 days, which caused my interview to be postponed. Eventually, I met with a recruiter who was pleasant and had clearly read and understood my resume.

So, I had an interview that wasn't too bad. First, there was a skills test that covered typing and some multiple-choice questions about Microsoft Office. Then, I had a one-on-one chat with the HR recruiter. I was hoping for a part-time gig, but they didn't have any openings at the time.
