It was a pretty intense interview process that spanned over a month. I had conversations with several upper-level managers and also completed a personality assessment. I met with the regional manager a couple of times and really enjoyed those interactions. The people here are fantastic.

Behavioral Other

Had an initial chat with the recruiter on the phone, which was pretty chill and conversational. Then, I had a formal sit-down with the CEO in Ann Arbor. I got there 15 minutes early, but ended up waiting nearly an hour for him. He acted super arrogant, kept calling himself 'The CEO', and asked questions that felt like they were pulled straight from a Google search. It was super awkward, with long silences after I answered his pre-written questions. It seemed like he struggled to understand my answers and took forever to process them. When I tried to ask him questions, his responses were rambling and totally off-topic. He also seemed annoyed that I even had questions for him. The whole thing was uncomfortable and felt pretty demeaning.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process was really fast and laid-back. It started with a call from an internal recruiter who was super friendly and quick to respond, giving me a good initial overview of the company and the role. Then I met with the CEO of the location, which was a great meeting, and it felt like we were on the same page regarding goals and ideas. After that, I had a phone interview with a regional/corporate director of DBD, which also went very well. They asked straightforward questions that you'd expect in an interview. So far, everyone has been awesome, and the whole thing has moved pretty quickly.
