First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Sekisui House U.S., Inc..
Purchasing Agent
It was a pretty standard process: first, a screening with the recruiter. Then, an interview with the hiring manager. They usually don't do a third round, but they had me come back to interview with the VP. He seemed disengaged, using his phone for questions, offered a weak handshake, and admitted he hadn't reviewed my resume, asking me to present it.
- How does your background align with this position?
- So, convince me to hire you.
Procurement Analyst
The interview process was incredibly smooth. I met with three different groups of people within just one week. I also had the chance to meet with the Division President, which shows they really care about every employee on their team. It was great hearing how passionate everyone was about their job and about Richmond.
- How would you determine which bid to select?
Procurement Analyst
I had a thorough interview with the division president and another supervisor over Skype. They asked me several questions that were pretty standard for job interviews.
- How would you contribute in a team setting?
