First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Seismic.
Marketing
It was a really thorough process, about 7 interviews in total. I applied on their website and got an email from a recruiter really fast, like within a few hours. We set up a call for later that week, and they told me I was moving on. After that, I talked to the hiring manager, then three team members, a VP, and then the hiring manager again. The whole thing took about 4-5 weeks. The recruiter was super communicative and kept me in the loop the whole time, which I really appreciated. Seismic seems like a great company with a great culture, but I had to pass for personal reasons.
- What makes you interested in Seismic?
- Can you tell me why you're interested in this specific role?
- Could you start by telling me a bit about yourself?
Marketing
Had a chat with the recruiter, then met several people on the team. But after that, the recruiting team went quiet and I had to chase them months later, only to find out I was rejected. It's okay if someone isn't a fit, but they should at least let you know.
- What about Seismic interests you?
Demand Generation
The interview process was pretty standard, but communication was poor. HR seemed understaffed, and I thought I'd been rejected or ghosted when they finally got back to me to negotiate an offer.
- Can you describe your experience in demand generation?
- Could you share some examples of your past work?
- What were the results and outcomes of the work you've done?
