Customer Success Manager
The first part of the interview felt like the recruiter didn't really want to be there. I was hoping to learn more about the company and the job, but she just asked if I knew about the company and assumed I understood the role from the description. She sounded rushed and was pretty rude the whole time. She didn't ask much about my background, just had me go through my resume. She also made a rude comment about my old company, saying she didn't like it and didn't get why it existed. When I tried to ask questions, she seemed annoyed. She got frustrated when I asked what she and the hiring manager were looking for in this role, especially since the last person wasn't a good fit. To end the rushed interview, she insisted on knowing my salary expectations even though I said I was okay with the range she mentioned. Then she asked about my previous salary, which is illegal where I live now. To make things worse, I never even got a rejection, just got ghosted.

Customer Success Manager
The interview process was good and didn't feel like a waste of time. It started with a 30-minute phone screen with the HR recruiter to discuss the role, the company, and my background. Then, I had video interviews with directors to talk about my experience and how I'd handle situations. After that, I interviewed with a peer who's currently in the role. Next, I did a demo of a QBR for some team members. The last step was a video interview with the RVP. Although I didn't get the offer, the experience was positive. They were responsive, provided quick feedback, and respected my time.
- What type of manager do you find you work best with?
Customer Success Manager
Overall, it was a really positive interview experience. First, there was a phone screen to go over my understanding of the company, the role, and salary expectations. Then, I talked with most of the Customer Success Leadership Team. Everyone was super clear about what the job involves and how the company is fast-paced. Most of these chats were virtual. I did go into the office for a QBR presentation to about 5 people, followed by Q&A, and then met with a couple more team members.
- Could you share your experience with contract renewals?
- What is your knowledge of Seismic?
- What motivates your interest in Seismic?
