SEI reached out to me about an open role. I went through 4 rounds of interviews. The final round involved giving a formal presentation on investment strategy to department heads in London and some senior US executives via video link. After that, I didn't hear back despite multiple follow-up emails and calls being ignored. Later inquiries suggested they didn't end up hiring for the position. Considering the job's level, the effort put into the hiring process, and the fact that there were likely only a few candidates left after 4 rounds, their lack of communication was quite unprofessional and rude. It left me with the impression that this is an odd company with an inflated sense of its own importance.

It was a standard three stage process. The HR people were a bit boring, but the actual team was super enthusiastic. I didn't hear back after the second round even though I followed up multiple times - I'm not sure why a good company would ghost candidates.
