I was contacted by phone after applying for an internship. I was given a date for a video call. We did the video call, but at the end, I was told that I don't speak French well enough, so they couldn't continue with me. This was not acceptable to me because, first, everything was mentioned in my CV: my French level, the fact that I'm not from a French-speaking country, etc., and they had already spoken to me once on the phone, so this seems like a very bad excuse.
