This process was a complete waste of my time, and they didn't give any feedback after rejecting me for no clear reason after I completed the entire interview loop. Next time, please be more respectful because this impacts people's lives. When candidates spend energy and time talking to you, it means they are not talking to other great companies. At the very least, reject candidates early or schedule fewer pointless meetings. A take-home assessment and technical interviews should not be part of the same process!

I got a Linkedin message from a recruiter and then had a Zoom interview, which I took time off work for. The interview felt a bit cold and it was clear she hadn't really read my resume. I'm a teacher trying to move into ed tech, and she seemed unimpressed that I don't have corporate experience, even though I mentioned I'm taking classes and doing professional development. It was a huge letdown and a cold experience, especially since the recruiter reached out, making you hopeful - it felt really insensitive.

I had a great experience interviewing with Seesaw! Michael Mandell reached out to me on LinkedIn and encouraged me to apply for the role, given my background and experience. The first step was a 30 minute phone call with the recruiter, Michael. Next, I had a 30 minute video interview with another manager on the support team. Following that, there were 3 45 minute panel interviews with different members of the leadership team and the hiring manager. Michael kept me updated throughout the entire process. I was never left in the dark and felt like he truly had my best interests in mind. It was a great interview experience!

Behavioral Case Presentation

The interview process was smooth and moved fast. It started with a 1-person phone interview, followed by a homework assignment. Then there were 4 interviews during the onsite portion, and a lunch with 3 employees. In total, it took 7 days from the first call to the onsite. Everyone I met was very kind and upfront about everything. The employees seemed really enthusiastic and welcoming. After a tour of their facility, I received a 'gift bag,' which was a thoughtful and unexpected gesture. The interviews were thought-provoking and focused on real scenarios I'd face in the role. I also met with both Co-founders, who are hands-on with daily operations and the interview process.
