I applied for the Graduate Software Engineer role. First, I got an online assessment via Vervoe. They told me to practice JS, but the technical questions were MCQs about general programming, with only one JS question. The assessment also had behavioral questions where I had to respond on video within 3 minutes, but Vervoe's video processing was bad, and I couldn't see my own responses. I don't think MCQs are a good way to assess programming skills.

It was a pretty straightforward process with just two main rounds. First, you have to pass an online assessment (OA), which is basically typical Leetcode/Hackerrank style problems. If you do well on that, you then get invited to what they call the assessment centre, which spans two full days. Day one includes an introduction to Seek, a group activity focused on agile methodologies, and a behavioral interview. The second day consists of two back-to-back pair programming sessions.

The interview process at SEEK was very drawn out and long, with several prescreening rounds, a take-home coding test, a two-hour tech collaboration interview, and a one-hour behavioral interview. Overall, it requires a significant time commitment from candidates, and I wouldn't suggest going through it.

- There was a typical algorithm question for the coding test, which was annoying but manageable.
- The second question was a basic React question, but it was unusual because the test required using React 16 without the modern standards of functional components and React Hooks.
