Went through 2 interviews and got a verbal job offer. When it was time to negotiate, the talent rep seemed accommodating, but they were actually interviewing other candidates and stringing me along. They ended up pulling the original offer because I asked for a bit more. Very unprofessional and sneaky. I'd avoid this company until they improve their ethics.

The first interview felt a bit off, like the interviewer doubted my qualifications. She asked if I had other interviews lined up, and when I said no, she sighed and questioned why. I explained honestly that I had applied elsewhere but hadn't secured any interviews yet, wanting to be upfront because I'm really interested in this company. She asked standard questions about my experience and why I'd want to work there, and the interview itself was quite straightforward. Afterwards, she gave me her card and suggested I call if I had questions, also mentioning she'd call me the next day. Unexpectedly, she texted to schedule a second phone interview. The next interviewer asked about my background and motivation for joining the company. He said they'd update me by the end of the day. Later, I called him back, and he seemed surprised I hadn't heard from 'her,' saying she was supposed to be calling. He assured me she would follow up. I didn't get a call, so the following day I tried reaching the initial interviewer, leaving a voicemail. It's now the weekend, and I haven't heard back, so I'll wait until Monday. I'm wondering if my calls might have annoyed them, but considering their persistence in interviewing me, my two calls versus their multiple over two days doesn't seem excessive. What's frustrating is the drawn-out process. If I didn't have a chance, why prolong it and make it complicated? I'm eager, but feel like I might be trying too hard or doing something wrong. I just wish they'd be direct if I'm not a fit. Then again, maybe someone else was better qualified, but if so, why proceed with a second interview and promise a follow-up?

The hiring supervisor reviewed my application and resume after I applied online. I got a call back for a quick introductory phone interview, and then an in-person meeting was set up at a branch office. The interview went for about two hours. The interviewer was nice, but they didn't answer some questions. Overall, it was a positive interview experience.

I spoke with a recruiter who asked about my past experience, my strengths, and any weaknesses I've learned from. It was pretty straightforward, with no standard 'tell me about yourself' question. They mainly wanted to know about my previous work and if I'd be willing to visit people's homes for collections.
