Secure-24 Interview Questions
& Process

I had two interviews with Secure-24, and they weren't great. They always say 'you did good, expect a call within two weeks,' but they never call. In my last interview, I answered most questions correctly and they seemed pleased, but it looks like they're after people who can put up with their 'nerf wars' environment. I wouldn't recommend Secure-24 if you're looking for a professional workplace. They try to imitate big companies like Google, but they fail. It's beneficial to have certifications like Network+, A+, or Security+ before applying, or maybe a higher one like CCNA. The interview can last up to two hours depending on how much you and the interviewer talk.

A recruiter from Secure 24 called me for an initial phone chat to see if we clicked and if I was into the job. They hit me with some really basic IT questions, like, 'You know DNS or HTTP, right?' and 'Active Directory, familiar with it?'. After that call, I went to their Southfield office for an on-site with one of the Technical Support Managers. The questions there were pretty much the same vibe. 'Explain DNS to your grandma?', 'What if someone calls saying their computer is slow, how do you help?', 'Dealing with angry customers, how's that go?'. They said someone would call within two weeks, but the recruiter actually called me back in just two hours. Secure 24 wanted to offer me the job as a Bilingual Technical Support Rep. I took it, but mentioned I had a felony conviction from 9 years ago. After that, Secure 24 just ghosted me. No offer rescinded, nothing. They just went dark and ignored all my attempts to reach them.

It was a tough technical interview. The hiring manager was quite egoistic. At the end, when asked if I had any questions, I inquired about one of their initiatives. The hiring manager responded with 'Good Question' but then left the room, ignoring my question and not providing an answer. The HR also failed to provide proper feedback when I asked. The HR himself is job hunting, so one would think he'd understand the importance of feedback for someone else. They seem to be leveraging the NTT Data name but don't really embody the MNC/American culture in India.

The interview process was very professional. I first spoke with HR about my characteristics and then met with two NOC managers and a senior engineer. The interview lasted about an hour and was quite intense. After following up via email three weeks later, I was informed I wasn't a good fit. Despite not getting the job, I considered it one of the best interviews I've had.
