Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at SEB AB.
Intern
The interview was about 40 minutes with my two direct bosses. It was pretty casual since it was an internship in innovation, so no technical questions were asked. Instead, they wanted to see how I could navigate concepts. We also discussed my responsibilities if I were to be hired.
- Could you introduce yourself and discuss your past experiences?
- What motivated you to apply for this position, and why do you think you'd be a good fit?
Intern
It was a good but really drawn-out interview process. Started with some online tests, then I had an in-person interview with the hiring manager. The interview itself was more focused on personality and understanding my motivations for wanting the position rather than deep technical skills.
- What is your motivation for this specific role?
- Can you explain why you are interested in this opportunity?
- What makes you want to be considered for this position?
Intern
I had a logical test and a behavioral assessment. I was rejected after a few weeks, and that was it. The whole process took over a month. There were no technical questions or interviews.
- Some logical questions and a behavioral assessment were asked, it was an easy interview.
