First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at SEB AB.
Analyst
The interview process involved a single round that was split into two parts. The first part was a 30-minute fit section where they asked basic questions about my resume and background, building on my previous answers. The second part was a 20-minute technical section focusing on financial statements, like explaining the components of a cash flow statement and discussing valuation multiples for a company such as KONE.
- What is SEB's role with its clients?
- Could you explain the components of a cash flow statement?
- If you were to invest in a company like KONE, what financial multiples would you consider?
Analyst
The interview process involved 2 rounds plus a personality test. It was a very basic interview where we discussed the role, the team, and my background. It wasn't overly complicated. However, I thought it was a bit strange that the external personality test provider asked many personal questions unrelated to the job, such as about my family, their living situation, and their occupations.
- Could you introduce yourself?
- What are your salary expectations?
Analyst
Started with an HR chat, then I got a homework assignment with a week to complete it using any tools I wanted. The task involved analyzing a few datasets. After submitting the homework, I had an interview with the team lead to discuss my experience and go over the homework review.
- Can you share an instance of dealing with a stressful situation?
- What are your experiences with teamwork and collaboration?
- Could you elaborate on your leadership capabilities?
