I had an interview at Seasons 52 in Los Angeles for a serving position. The floor manager interviewed me. At first, she seemed friendly and laid back, which put me at ease. However, the interview quickly felt more like an interrogation than a job interview. Towards the end, she seemed disengaged, asking the last few questions reluctantly and not paying attention to my responses. She would look around the room, uninterested, and even interrupted me to yell at another employee without apologizing. It wasn't a great interview experience overall.

I found out about the job opening on Craigslist and applied on their website. They got back to me within a few days. The interview itself went fine, but it was pretty short, only about 20 minutes. The Manager seemed nice and was happy to share her thoughts on the restaurant. They were only hiring for one spot, and I guess the person they picked had more experience than me.

After completing the assessment tests and getting your resume approved, you'll be invited for an interview. Typically, there are two interviews, and sometimes the second one happens right after the first if they're impressed. Knowing about wine is a plus. No drug screening. You need previous serving experience.
