Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Search Solution Group.
Recruiter
I had several interviews with the management team, which gave me a really good feel for the company culture and what they value. They were very open about what matters most to them when they're hiring. Overall, it was a positive interview experience.
- What are your priorities?
Executive Recruiter
The whole interview process took me about a week. I initially applied for the job on LinkedIn and quickly got a call from the company's founder, Jeremy. Jeremy asked me some personal questions that caught me off guard and made me question my interest in sales. Overall, Jeremy then set me up for an in-person interview at the Charlotte office with several recruiters. Practicing behavioral questions beforehand really helped me prepare for the face-to-face interview. The recruiters there are definitely going to put you on the spot with questions that might get a little personal. Following my in-person interview, I had to arrange reference calls. After the references were contacted, I was invited back for a half-day session, where I was ultimately extended an offer.
- What is your motivation for pursuing sales?
- What draws you to recruiting?
- What feedback would your previous manager give about you?
Associate Recruiter
I applied online and had a phone interview the same week, followed by an in-person interview the next week. The interviews were quick and to the point. They asked about my qualifications and wanted me to elaborate on my experience. As long as you sound knowledgeable, I think you have a good chance. I got the job offer right after the interview and accepted it the following day.
- Do you believe in working late hours?
