First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Search Influence.
Account Associate
I had a group interview first. In that interview, I met two people from HR and some other people applying for different jobs. They asked a question and we all went around to answer it. After the group interview, HR said they would contact us if they wanted to schedule another 1-on-1 interview. About two months later, I was told I didn't get past the group interview.
- Could you describe the most difficult part of your previous role?
Account Associate
It was pretty straight forward. You need to be able to back up your answers with specific examples from your past and always place emphasis on solving for the customer. Make sure that you show an interest in learning about SEO and go in with a basic knowledge of the industry if possible.
- Can you share an instance where you had to decline a request?
- Tell me about a time you had to say no to someone.
Account Associate
We did a group interview with a long list of questions. Everyone had to answer the same question, one after the other. Make sure you are the first one to answer. Easy questions, standard, you can prepare.
