I went through two rounds for the internship. First, I spoke with the manager I would have reported to, and then I had a conversation with someone more senior. I was told that was the end of the line. Sadly, I got a rejection email without any explanation. It's frustrating because I invested time in applying and getting ready for the interviews. I believe a simple 5-minute email explaining the decision would be a nice gesture, especially since I was one of the final candidates.
