I applied to Seagate in April 2020 and was interviewed by two bots. One sounded like she might be human because of her accent, the other sounded bored and irritated. The first bot asked me about TensorRT API specifics, like a function signature, which I thought was weird for a warm-up. The second bot wanted me to explain a project I worked on. I went into detail for 10 minutes, sharing some proprietary info. I used the phrase 'In general...' because the use case wasn't straightforward and we tried different things. The bot cut me off and insisted I explain exactly what I did, not generally, but the specifics, and added 'it's ok if your teammate did this'. I just kept thinking about how ridiculous the whole situation was. Good luck to future candidates, especially with Seagate's products declining. You'll probably need to innovate, which is hard for your robotic interviewers. Rethink your hiring.
