Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at SEA (Singapore).
Finance Analyst
First there was a recruiter, then HR, then the hiring managers. They give you a case study to do in 1 hour. Then you present it to the managers and they ask you questions during the presentation. They ask other usual interview questions too.
- Why did you leave your last job?
Finance Analyst
The process was very efficient and positive. It started with the recruiter, then there was a coding test, followed by a round with the hiring manager, and finally a round with the department head. The recruiter was great and gave feedback after each round.
- How would you handle a situation at work where you have difficult colleagues?
Finance Analyst
I had an HR interview and then a SQL technical test. The HR person reached out 3 months after I applied. After the phone call, they didn't send the links for the technical test, so I had to remind them. After the test, there was no response for another month. I sent another reminder and then got a generic rejection email. The HR communication was really bad. Be careful if you apply for roles here!
- Tell me about your university results.
- Can you tell me about your coding experiences?
