Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at SEA (Singapore).
Accountant
There was a phone interview, then an in-person interview. HR went through details for interview prep. There was a 30-minute technical test and a 1-hour interview. The interview was typical: introduce yourself, your motivation for applying, challenges in previous jobs, and why you want to change jobs.
- What are your expectations for working here?
Financial Accountant
They will tell you that they require their staff to work overtime frequently. It's up to you if you can take it or leave it before you join. If you're seeking work-life balance, this is not the role for you. Looking back at comments about the company, most people say the same thing.
- Do you have answers to technical questions?
- Do you have answers to IQ questions?
Accountant
Overall it was alright, they asked usual questions. They mostly wanted to know why I was interested in joining them. I followed up with an email after a week, but haven't heard back.
- Are you open to working overtime, and do you believe in work-life balance?
