The interview process was pretty much the same for over a decade. I made it to the assessment center and got a pretty positive feedback but they retained me only as a reserve candidate. It was of three rounds. Interview + Group discussion on a case study + Imaginary scenario of meeting a client (who is upset with a recent issue in their organization).

Applied online and then took some aptitude tests. After that there was a video interview and then the assessment centre. The online part was pretty standard. The assessment centre was my first one, but it was a really good experience. The day was split into a few parts. There were about 8 candidates. In the morning, 4 of us had a competency based interview. The other 4 were given a document with lots of data about smart meter implementation. It had info on all company departments, from installation costs to complaint details. It was really detailed. We had 30 minutes to prepare a solo talk for 2 managers, like a role play. Then the groups swapped, so the presentation people had their competency interview and vice versa. In the afternoon, there was a group activity with all 8 people. We were given another data sheet about 5 different technologies the company wanted to implement, like solar panels, hydro-electric, trees that work like wind turbines, and others. We had 15 minutes to read it and take notes, then we had to reach a group decision on which technology would be best to implement.

The interview felt pretty chill. The person interviewing me would stop for a bit to jot down notes. They started by asking about my application and if I'd be able to make it to the assessment centre on the dates they gave if I got through this interview. Mostly, they asked questions about my motivation, what I'm good at, and how flexible I am. If I got stuck, they'd give me a nudge or explain what they were after.
