I applied online and heard back from them pretty quickly about scheduling a phone chat. It was a pretty chill call with someone from HR. After that, they sent me an online assessment, which was pretty straightforward but I'd suggest doing a practice one first. The next day, the same HR person called me back to set up an interview for the following week. When the interview started, I had to do a 45-minute writing test. This was also very direct. You get the prompt on the day, and if you've done writing before, like blogging or copywriting, you should be fine. Lastly, I had an in-person meeting with the HR person I'd been talking to, and the leads for the two content teams. It was a nice mix of just getting to know each other and a regular interview. The entire experience from applying to getting the offer was super fast, and I got to ask questions throughout.
- Can you tell me about a time you experienced a stressful day at work?
- How do you approach situations where you need to solve a problem about something you don't know much about?
- Could you share an instance where you helped resolve a conflict or issue at work?

I applied online and then the Director of Talent Acquisition emailed me a few weeks later to set up a call. It was a pretty basic call with general questions about my career goals. They asked if I wanted to move forward, and I said yes, so they sent me a personality and IQ test assessment. After I passed that, about a week later, they sent a writing assessment which I had 30 minutes to complete on a topic they provided that same day. A few days after that, I was scheduled for interviews with the recruiter I spoke to initially and two leads from the department. After about an hour with them, I had a final interview with someone on the team I would be joining. A few hours after that last interview, I got the offer.
- What motivates you to seek a new role?
- How do you approach your work?
- What are your hobbies outside of work?

The interview process started out good but then went downhill. It began with a phone interview with corporate. After that, I had to do a project to test my technical skills and also a screening test with questions about general intelligence and personality. Then, I had another video interview with corporate, followed by an in-person interview at the NY office. It was a long process, but I felt good because I was moving through the stages quickly. After finishing the last step, I was told I'd hear back in about a week either way. A week passed, no word. I emailed my contact and was told to wait another week because they were still interviewing. Another week went by, still nothing. I emailed again and was told they were waiting another week to decide and would let me know as soon as a decision was made, even if it wasn't me. This happened AGAIN. Finally, after I emailed them again, they told me they chose another candidate. The whole thing took about a month, but three of those weeks were just waiting for an answer, which they kept delaying. The worst part is they wanted me to do my parts quickly, but they didn't show the same urgency on their end. It was frustrating to constantly chase them for answers after investing so much time and energy. I get that hiring can take longer than expected, but at least keep candidates updated so they aren't left in the dark.
- Tell me about an accomplishment you are proud of.
