The hiring process with Scopic took 5 weeks in July 2025, and it was pretty fast and went smoothly. The HR person was really responsive and answered my questions clearly. There were four main parts: a 45-minute HR chat, a take-home coding challenge, a 1-hour technical interview, and a 30-minute final chat with the COO. I got the offer and accepted.

We start with a quick chat with HR. Then, you'll get a technical assignment to complete, usually within 2-3 days. After that, there's a technical interview with a senior engineer, and finally, a discussion with the manager about the offer.

I applied because it was a remote job, which are scarce in my region. Honestly, it felt like a waste of time. The initial stage didn't even involve a phone call. A recruiter contacted me via email, and then we communicated via text on Skype at a scheduled time. The questions were similar to what others have posted. The job-specific questions were basically rephrased bullet points from the job description. They also gave me a case study, which was a good exercise. Unfortunately, I was rejected a few weeks later for what seemed like a random reason. I had hoped to discuss my approach with someone technical who had relevant expertise. Because of this, I consider the hiring process a waste of time.
